What Pointless Is

Pointless is Houdini’s rewards program. It lives inside the main Houdini app and is available once you connect your wallet. There are two ways to earn:
  • Incentives – cashback on your own swaps
  • Referrals – commission when people you invite swap
Both are managed from the same dashboard. You don’t need a separate account or a different site.

Two Ways to Earn

We keep this simple. There are only two mechanics.

🟣 Incentives

Cashback on your own swaps You swap.
You get part of the fee back. How much you earn depends on:
  • Swap type (Private, No-Wallet, DEX)
  • Your total monthly volume
  • How much LOCK you hold (EVM + Solana combined)
The more you use Houdini and the more LOCK you hold, the higher your return.

🟢 Referrals

Earn when your network swaps You invite someone.
They swap.
You earn a share of Houdini’s fee. This is multi-tier:
  • Direct friends earn you the highest percentage
  • Friends of friends earn you a smaller percentage
  • Third level earns even less
The commission is taken from Houdini’s fee, not from the full swap amount.

Referrals (Affiliate Program)

How it works

  1. Connect your wallet and open the Pointless dashboard.
  2. Get your personal referral link and referral code.
  3. Share it.
  4. When someone joins and swaps using your link or code, they become part of your network.
  5. Every time they swap, you earn a share of Houdini’s fee.
Rewards are calculated automatically and appear in your dashboard after the swap completes.

Multi-tier structure

The referral program has three levels:
  • Tier 1 (Direct referrals): 20%
  • Tier 2: 15%
  • Tier 3: 10%
These percentages apply to Houdini’s fee, not the full swap amount. Example:
  • You invite Alice → she is Tier 1 under you.
  • Alice invites Bob → Bob is Tier 2 under you.
  • Bob invites Charlie → Charlie is Tier 3 under you.
When anyone in this chain swaps, commissions are distributed according to their tier.

Incentives (Self-Cashback)

Incentives are cashback on your own swaps. When you swap through Houdini, part of the fee is returned to you as a reward. The amount you earn depends on:
  • The type of swap
  • Your trade volume
  • How much LOCK you hold (EVM and Solana combined)

Base reward rates

Rewards are calculated based on the value of your swap.
  • First $100 swapped: 0.004 USD per USD spent
  • Private swaps: 0.001 USD per USD spent
  • No-Wallet swaps: 0.0005 USD per USD spent
  • DEX swaps: 0.0003 USD per USD spent
These rates apply automatically based on the swap type. Holding LOCK increases your reward through a boost mechanism. The more LOCK you hold, the higher your cashback.

Dashboard and Tracking

Both Incentives and Referrals are managed from the same Pointless dashboard. After you connect your wallet, you can see:
  • All-time earnings
  • Current month balance
  • Withdrawable balance
  • Number of transactions
  • A detailed activity log showing:
    • Swap type
    • Reward type (Incentive or Referral)
    • Amount earned
Rewards appear in your dashboard shortly after a swap completes.

Account balance vs withdrawable balance

  • Account balance shows everything you’ve earned so far.
  • Withdrawable balance shows what has been settled and can be claimed.
Rewards are settled monthly before they become withdrawable.

Tracking and Payouts

All rewards from Incentives and Referrals are tracked in the Pointless dashboard. When a qualifying swap completes, the reward is credited to your account balance. This balance reflects everything you have earned so far, across both programs. Rewards are settled monthly. At the end of each month, your total rewards are pushed to an EVM smart contract. Once settled on-chain, they become withdrawable. Withdrawals are made to your connected EVM wallet. Solana wallets can be connected for LOCK balance tracking, but payouts are processed on EVM.
